While researching techniques designed to expedite transportation, scientists cause a rupture in the fabric of reality causing multiple dimensions to collapse in on each other. In this new altered landscape creatures thought to be myth crash into our world, with cultures merging and clashing causing unrest in the landscape of Japan, 5 Societies emerge from the chaos with each vying to take control of the country. On Sado Island a group of exiles from the Societies have formed together with the goal of protecting the world and restoring balance. They assemble an elite team to set out and prevent the devilish plans of the Societies before they can reach fruition.
